What Can You Expect to Receive?
Mission of Deeds provides gently-used furniture, kitchen items, and household goods donated by generous people in our surrounding communities. Mattresses, box springs, bed pillows, comforters, blankets, sheets, and towels are new. Our inventory changes each day so we cannot guarantee the availability of specific items.
Clients are allowed one visit to Mission of Deeds. This is to ensure we are helping the largest number of people in our community. Please review below on how to plan for this one visit.
All items are given free of charge.
You must complete a Client Referral Form with a Referral Agency. Once we have received this form, you call us to make an appointment to come to our Reading location.

Your Visit
1. Make an appointment by calling 781.944.9797.
2. Clear your calendar for the day.
3. Borrow or rent a large van or truck.
4. Reserve a rental. Ask about total price! We recommend insurance.
5. You will need a 10-foot truck for a single person, a 15-foot for a family.
6. Only 1 trip allowed but you can bring multiple vehicles.
7. Bring 1 or 2 people to help load.
8. Leave children at home or bring someone to watch them.
9. Think about your space. What size furniture will fit?
10. Notify us as soon as possible of any changes.
11. We do not guarantee rescheduling of appointments.
12. Get directions to 6 Chapin Avenue, Reading MA.
13. Your visit will last about an hour at Mission of Deeds.
