Please note the updates below that may be helpful as you submit future referrals:
-We are experiencing unprecedented demand for our service. In some cases, it may take weeks to months until the client’s appointment. We are doing our best to decrease the waiting period but we do have a small warehouse and we need to make sure we have enough furniture for all.
-We have the following limits per client: 1 bureau, 2 lamps, 1 kitchen table, enough kitchen chairs +1 for the household, and 1 couch/loveseat. These limits are in place to make sure we have enough furniture for every household we serve.
-We have an on-demand phone translation service. They can handle 150+ languages. Clients can call us to schedule the appointment even if English is not their first language.
-We are enforcing a strict no re-scheduling policy. Clients (or the referrer) must calls us at least one week in advance to re-schedule. If you try to re-schedule within a week, we will not be able to do so.
-We are also not scheduling appointments for clients who have been previously helped by Mission of Deeds even if there are extenuating circumstances.
