The 25th annual Bill Mulrenan Memorial Golf Tournament was held on Monday, June 5 at the Woburn Country Club. A rain-soaked morning did not dampen the mood. A full field embraced the weather conditions and played 18 holes. Plus, the conditions provided an easy out for errant shots.
We are grateful to the Mulrenan Family, sponsors, donors, golfers, volunteers, and the Woburn Golf & Ski Authority for their unwavering support over the years. A special thanks to the hospitality shown by Peter Bracey and the Woburn Country Club staff. We could not host this golf tournament without their backing.
When Tony Triglione founded Mission of Deeds, Bill Mulrenan quickly signed on to help in any way he could. Bill served as Mission of Deeds first Executive Director and he did so in a volunteer capacity. Bill handled phones, drove the truck, and was instrumental in delivering furniture to so many clients in need. After Tony stepped down as President, Bill took over and presided over Board meetings for several years. We are grateful for his countless contributions to Mission of Deeds. We look forward to hosting the golf tournament year-after-year in his honor.
Be on the lookout for information on the next golf tournament which will be in June 2024.
